Fidelity Investments Canada ULC (Fidelity) marks its return to Cboe Canada with the launch of the Fidelity Active ETFs, including one new ETF and three ETF series of existing mutual funds. These ETFs are available for trading under the symbols FINN, FCGC, FCLC, and FCGS.
Kelly Creelman, Senior Vice President, Products and Marketing at Fidelity, announced the firm’s excitement at extending its ETF offerings, aiming to aid advisors and investors in their search for products that merge ETF flexibility with strong long-term performance potential.
The new line-up of ETFs includes the Fidelity Global Innovators® ETF (FINN) that focuses on investing in global growth companies employing innovative technologies or novel business models.
The Fidelity Greater Canada Fund (FCGC) provides an opportunity for investors to gain long-term capital growth by investing in out-of-favour Canadian stocks, with the option to invest up to 49% in foreign markets.
The Fidelity Canadian Large Cap Fund (FCLC) primarily targets large-cap Canadian companies that are undervalued and can withstand market volatility. Lastly, the Fidelity Global Small Cap Opportunities Fund (FCGS) is designed to exploit market mispricing for small-cap companies worldwide.
These new offerings join six existing Fidelity ETFs listed on Cboe Canada. Fidelity now has 10 ETFs listed on the platform, and investors can trade these units through discount brokerage platforms and full-service dealers.
This expansion, according to Fidelity, is not just a testament to their growth but also demonstrates their continued commitment to providing innovative and trusted investment solutions.
